@ezas123 Thanks. How long after the second revision did the arthofibrosis settle in? Any way to prevent it? You are right--this is really awful. Is your leg better now than before the second revision? Is the arthrofibrosis painful, or does it just make your knee stiff? Hope you don't mind all the questions.

@plgirl just makes it stiffen up. Scar tissue comes back a lot faster and a lot more of it . Can’t prevent it is either you have it or you don’t. Best thing you can do is just keep moving. Not aggressively just slow and steady. After my first knee surgery I could not even sit for more than 5 minutes at a time. The tkr was nothing like that. It is scary to go through this again I know . Anymore questions don’t hesitate to ask . I am going to pt right now my extension is ten degrees off normal , my flexion is at 70 so I am always work in progress lol
