What side effects did you experience with Octreotide?

For me the shots have stopped my diarrhea and blocked growth of my liver mastics with no side effects. Unfortunately the monthly shot is a treatments and not a cure

The newer injection, lanreotide, seems very well tolerated. Have not heard of problems with diarrhea or stomach upsets. My husband has been on it for 1 year and says he has no symptoms. He has pnets with metastatic to liver. Everything stable, grade 2, slow growing.
