Your stomach muscles have to work to release food in your stomach. Apparently mine did not work properly which left food in my stomach which is supposed to be empty when having surgery. Unbeknown to me… my was full at surgery and I aspirated and my stomach had to be pumped. IT WAS FULL! It had been 16 hours since I had had food or water.

@bytheriver I’m so sorry you went through that! I never knew anything about that type of issue with Reclast. I had reclast once, then my doctor put me on Evenity for 9 months, and I had a heart attack. I had no risk factors and no family history. My doctor is saying that I have 2 choices. Another round of Reclast or Prolia. The latter having a rebound effect if you stop taking it.
She didn’t even mention Forteo?!
