I just take Gabapentin
(Neurotin), with moderate relief, most of the time. It takes an hour or more for onset. I take it 600 mg a couple of hours before bed. And 300 mg q4 hrs throughout the day. But it makes me a little lethargic and affects my balance and gait so I don’t take it when I have to go anywhere. I also take 2 extra strength Tylenol in the late morning and again about 10 pm.
But that’s more for back pain. It may help the neuropathy too but I don’t notice any difference.

@brenda11 I also take gabapentin. I was able to decrease my daily dose from 2400 mg a day to 1200 mg a day after I started taking R Alpha Lipoic Acid.

I now take 300 mg of gabapentin four times a day and 300 mg R Alpha Lipoic Acid three times a day.

I' m trying to decrease gabapentin even more but seem to be plateauing at 1200 mg.
