Hello...I just joined because I have pf in my left foot. It's been 6 months. Mine is worse through the day and I believe was caused by a lot of standing this past winter, cooking and preparing food. I wear Hokas and Brooks shoes. The podiatrist had me order high-arch insoles which I wore for a while but they aggravated my foot and caused more pain so I took the out of my shoes. I went to 3 sessions of phys therapy but it was so basic and elementary, I stopped going. It was less than what I was doing at home; I was hoping for something more intensive. I just finished my 3rd treatment of shockwave therapy yesterday and no improvement yet. So, my days are spent limping around and sitting on the couch watching my waistline grow. I notice this forum isn't very active but was hoping to hear from someone. Thanks.

@dove123 I suffered too, did all of the things, pt, etc. I found 2 things that helped tremendously. One was pf socks that I bought on amazon. I didn’t think they would help but had tried everything else. They came in packs of 6, I wore them everyday. It definitely improved my pf a lot. The 2nd thing and most effective thing was having a massage. She worked on the sides of my ankles as well as other areas. It was painful but did the trick. It’s gone and I go once a month to keep it gone. Good luck!
