Unusual bruising on Relugovix and Abiraterone

You might also consider the prednisone as a contributing factor. I didn’t get any unusual bruising when I was on a 5 mg dose of prednisone during ADT, but another steroid for a different condition earlier in my life made my skin, particularly on the arms, very weak and susceptible to bruising right below the outer surface of the skin. It also tore very easily. It wasn’t painful, however.

@nikolai57 thanks, the tenderness etc only occurred before the bruising appeared, the tenderness has gone now, but the bruising remains though is lighter in colour but still visible 12 days later. The oncology team are just going to monitor unless more bruising appears, or he has additional symptoms so currently a watch and wait. He is actually tolerating this combination of HT much better than the previous time which made him so low and with multiple side effects he didn't want to try HT again. He is exercising and keeping busy too which he couldn't do previously, so I think he hopes its just a blip but grateful he's being monitored just in case!!
