Anyone had an Abbott SCS put in? BurstDR strength setting?

@stevenla313 wow, that is a great question. I assumed the permanent one was the same one used in the trial, but I'm not 100% sure. I will have to check with my Abbott rep.

@phxratt1 Just wanted to follow up about my question if they use the same SCS generator in the permanent placement as they use in the trial.
My Abbott rep said “No”. She said that because of the “outside covering” of the generator must be different. During the trial they use one with a plastic outside. And in the permanent one, it is a specific type of metal.
Today is the last day of my trial. And to my surprise it has actually helped!
Am I completely pain free? No. But I have experienced a significant decrease in pain!
