I have come to the conclusion that I have a damaged vagus nerve from radiation treatment to my neck and throat. I currently use some of the methods you have discussed and haven't found them to be satisfactory. I am currently looking for a neurologist who specializes in vagus nerve treatment.

@cgoins1031 that depends on how your vagus nerve is reacting. Is it over active or under active? Really there are 2 vagus nerves one on ether side of your spinal cord. Mine are over active. When I feel it coming on I drink gator aid. It helps me.
