What does your doctor think it is if it isn't PMR?

My doctor(s) had a different approach. Nobody has ever questioned that I have PMR, My doctor(s) still don't question that PMR was my main problem even though I have been off Prednisone for 6 years for the first time in "decades."

I rather not see more new doctors other than the ones I already see. More doctors just keep adding a new additional diagnosis to PMR. Many of my newer problems stem from being on prednisone for so long.

Every one of my current doctors would agree that Prednisone was masking other problems which surfaced when I tried to taper off Prednisone. They are all in agreement that PMR wasn't the only problem.

@dadcue Didn't suggest anything in particular - just that I needed to get off Prednisone. Next time my knee flares - and it will - then get knee aspirated/check fluids, etc. Have done this before - nothing significant shows up - but will obviously do as they suggest.
Markers are not elevated - which isn't unusual at this stage.
Thanks for the input
