I hate even suggesting this because common culprits for stinky gas are cruciferous veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, kale, brussel sprouts. Eggs can also cause it but I don't think near as badly. Combining any of those with a sugary dessert was a recipe for disaster for me. I learned not to eat those things the day before or the day of going out in public.

@gin64 fish and seafood, really "scents" my output. I have an ileostomy, so nothing stays in me longer than a few hours. With my ileostomy the output just smells like whatever I ate; garlic, cinnamon, even something very buttery. Spices don't get digested so if they aren't masked by something else, cinnamon, cloves, allspice, pepper can make you output have a different odour.

A lot of ileostomates can't tolerate a lot of fiber, so cruciform veggies are out for them. I can eat them if they are very well cooked.
