Don’t really know if had an aneurysm when I took levaquin. Only took it for a short time, but it bothered my knee’s almost immediately.I was 76yrs old and when I researched it was noted about prescribing it for anyone over 65. The aneurysm was diagnosed about 4yrs ago (83yrs) and one of the first things they told me was to stay from levaquin. Now 87 and doing ok.Have a few back problems and I believe sacro joint problems. Still vey active as I have been my whole life. Thanks for the concern!

@rockpir -sad, isn't it. that some of the things medical science develops to help people can and does do so much harm.
The research I did on Clindamycin (all online) shows that the tendon attacks are 'very rare. so rare as to be anecdotal'. I'm finding out that it's not all that rare. It's my fervent hope that the FDA undertakes a study and puts a black box warning on Clindamycin like they finally did for the fluoroquinolones.
