Hello @nscaccia, Welcome to Connect. You might want to discuss the hydrogen peroxide with your doctor. It's great that you are reading and learning what others are doing to help their neuropathy. I shared my neuropathy journey in another discussion here - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/310341/.

"There’s no scientific evidence that drinking hydrogen peroxide yields benefits. Plus, doing so is linked to dangerous side effects, including breathing problems, severe gut damage, and death."

You might find this article on the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy helpful for learning what some patients have found helpful and is more evidence based.

Have you been diagnosed with neuropathy?

@johnbishop I saw a neuralogist and was asked if I had about 10 different ailments that could cause or pretain to neuropathy, and I had none of the above. I was then told that this office sees about 3-4 people a week who have neuropothy systems, but no obvious reason for them and that they just don't know what causes it. They then advised me to be tested and I declined as I know people that have endured this nerve test and told me it was awful and very painful. So here I am left to figure it out for myself. I understand the dangers of H2 therapy and I take every precaution. I can tell you this, I have been taking H2 since Aug 2025, I use a tens unit about four times a week, I elevate my legs for about 15 minutes a night before I go to sleep and I sleep on my left side (for my heart and circulation). My neurapothy is still there, but not as bad as it was when I first realized I had a real problem and I can honestly say it has not progressed and gotten worse. I consider that evidence of H2 working.
