I agree. I use Microsoft Co-pilot. I find makes mistakes all the time. I used it for information but then check with my doctors and specialist about questions it makes for me to ponder.
I recently was doing E-bay account and A.I. said I could use drivers license and not put in my S.S. number. So A.I. was guiding me for over an hour on how to do it with no success.
I think contacted E-bay customer service and they said in 2024 that per IRS then have to have SS number for when you sell items and they no longer allow I.D. to be DL. So I went back with that to A.I. and it came back E-bay is correct they had to change the policy in 2024.
So I asked A.I. then why did you waste a hour of my time if you new this. A.I. came back and apologized. I know this is not exactly about A.I. but demonstrates A.I. does make mistakes and also may not have the most up to date information. I know A.I. is not human but I was not happy with A.I. wasting my time. A.I. came back with sorry I should have known and you are right to be upset with me. Oh wow, artificial intelligence has a long way to go.
