My name is Gordon. I am 78 years old and have been wearing walkisins for around five years. They help keep me from falling when I am walking. Before I got them I took small steps, but now I walk at my normal pace. They do not necessarily stop me from falling getting out of a chair, starting to go up or down stairs. Once I am moving, they seem to keep me on the straight and narrow. Hope this helps. Gordon
