@mysophiecat986, you really have about a month before you "need" to start another medication. I can pretty well guarantee that none of us want to take anything.
After a month your bones will start the process of returning to baseline which is thought to take a year or so. But look, you've saved yourself three years, by then, of bone loss. We have to say--well done. And if you at baseline decide to take Forteo again, your response the second time will be as robust as the first.
Unlike your sophie, I'm a scardycat. I'd rather fight osteoporosis than spend my days fighting pain, plus I don't want to slow down. Some people don't fracture. I pray that you are one of those.

No l have numerous fractures. The T9 is the one that could not be fixed with kyphoplasty. Causes me a lot of weakness in my core. Brace does not work. I have been an extremely active person in the past and this is very hard to deal with. I have had shots, an ablation and lots of PT. Nothing works.
