Hi @marshgirl24. I’ve had to endure several 3 hour MRIs over the past few years. May I suggest asking your doctor (whomever is ordering the MRI) for a one-off prescription for lorazapam 5mg. You can take it about an hour before your MRI and you’ll be relaxed by the time of imaging. It works really well to take the edge of any anxiety.

I’m used to the MRIs now so they no longer bother me but I can’t lie still for 3 hours. So I still take one to help me stop fidgeting. LOL.
