@ipg hi, i am in a similar situation. I had a stress fracture in my foot 4 years ago. I have been trying diet, supplements, exercise vs meds. I have met with 2 PTs, have done a lot of research. 2 yrs ago my spine was -3.0. I am due for a dexa in August. I think that if my BMD has decreased again I will make an appt with an endo to see what is suggested. I too am petrified of the side effects & live alone. I want to further evaluate Forteo side effects. Tymlos seems to possibly have headache, heart palpitations, insomnia, cramps. I don't understand about the difference in dosage between Forteo & Tymlos if they are similar.
I am even more afraid of Reclast or Prolia side effects. At least with Forteo & Tymlos you can stop. I am extremely grateful for all the helpful information, here, thanks for the support!
