Exemestane questions: Does anyone have substantial weight gain with this medication?
I also have a loss of appetite and have to focus on "See Food, to force myself to eat solid food.
Past 45 days, I am off liquids with the hopes of tricking my body to losing. My next Team appointment will be Aug.
They will run thyroid test, etc.
Interesting thought, Exemestane and Anastrozole affect the thyroid?
Any Yes' of gains?
Help, how to handle the gains and stay on trek with med.

@medranocm yes weight gain. It is listed as a side effect of the medication. I was holding (not loosing) on Anastrazole but the switch to exemestane hit hard. It the start of the third month, I gained 10# in1 week with no changes in exercise or eating habits. The only thing that stopped it was 24 hour liquid fast. When mentioned it, was told by 2 of the doctors that it doesn’t cause weight gain, just makes it more difficult to loose. You’re not imagining it, it happens to a lot of us.
