Well I just got hit with that Common Cold, which can be a side effect of Brinsupri and it sure is a whammy. Three days of sinus headaches, coughing, mucus production, disrupted sleep & zero energy. This has exhausted me. Wondering if anyone else has had it? Hoping it's on it's way out/gone.
Still questioning if Brinsupri is helping. My husband says he hasn't seen a difference in me to this point. Weighing risks vs benefits!

@tolepainter
Did you take a Covid test?

Brinsupri takes 6 months to work.

@tolepainter I've been on brensocatib for 8 months and, like you, have had lots of upper airway side effects. Dry cough, tons of sinus drainage, sneezing. It may be just due to seasonal allergies, but I've never really had bad allergies before.

One the plus side, I have considerably more energy than I've had in a long time. I still become short of breath with exercise, but that's probably due to having had a lung lobe removed from bronchiectasis. I also have a significant decrease in mucus production.

After 3 years of dealing with this disease, I finally feel like I'm getting my life back, which is such a blessing!

@tolepainter I have been on Brinsupri since January. Recent URI symptoms lasted about 3 weeks which I contracted from granddaughter. It was rough with productive cough, wheezing and congestion. Thankfully, sputum culture did not indicate a need for antibiotics.
