@blm1007blm1007 I am 67 and I’ve been dealing with bronchiectasis for about 20 years. This past year has been the worst. I too am being tested for MAC and I’m scheduled to go to NJH in August. I will be there for almost 10 days and have not seen my schedule yet. I’m sorry I didn’t catch if you spent time there. Does anyone have any recommendations for hotels and what the visit looks like?

So, I thought it would be fun to ask a AI chatbot to summarize comments in this forum on the topic of visiting NJH, which has been written about a lot. Keep in mind it will not be 100% accurate (opinions are often included) but I suspect it might give you a general idea of what to expect. You can always call ahead and find out your schedule in advance. I made it into a PDF as it reads quite comprehensively. Good luck with your visit.

@deanna14 I stayed at the Marriot Residence Inn, Oct. of 2023, while at NJH.
I know there is another hotel there. I believe it is the Hilton. They are in the Cherry Creek Area of Denver and approximately 10 minutes away from NJH. Whole Foods and Sprouts are close by if you have a car for the trip. Many of the places give a discount when in Denver to be a patient at NJH. Marriot did.

Others on the Mayo Connect having posted and answered did an Air B and B. Hope they might see your post and question to give their input.
I liked the Residence Inn in Cherry Creek due the area, lovely.

I was at NJH from 4/29 - 5/7 and stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Denver Cherry Creek. I enjoyed my stay and even wrote a review. Quiet hotel with great daily housekeeping.

I had a 10 day scheduled at NJH and found an airbnb a block or two away from the health center. It was within walking distance and close to restaurants a coffee shop and a grocery store. I found the place on the Airbnb website. https://www.airbnb.com/
