@kathyjjb Interesting about having the CRP checked.
Does your Pulm or Primary Care Doctor, PCD, do that test? How often? Are you in pre Medicare or Medicare?

My PCD is hesitant somewhat in prescribing certain tests due to not knowing if certain tests will be approved. I wanted my D level tested ,at least once a year, and they said I needed to check with Medicare to see if it would be approved. I thought the doctors office did the inquiry, Advance Beneficiary Notice for approval or non approval.

@blm1007blm1007 I have had my CRP done 3 times at NJH. I don't think my PCP has ever done a CRP. Vitamin D has been a routine test at the time of my annual physicals. I have Medicare Advantage. I have never been told to call Medicare by any of my doctors. You would think they would know that.
