@blm1007blm1007 No, I meant my local doctors. I see both my ID and Pulm doctor in June and July, respectively. I won't be going back to NJH until October. Yes, depending on what units you use, define the number of zeros. So, mine were 4100 last check. The year prior when I had 5840, I may have had a slight infection since my CRP was elevated. Last check my CRP was normal.

@kathyjjb Interesting about having the CRP checked.
Does your Pulm or Primary Care Doctor, PCD, do that test? How often? Are you in pre Medicare or Medicare?

My PCD is hesitant somewhat in prescribing certain tests due to not knowing if certain tests will be approved. I wanted my D level tested ,at least once a year, and they said I needed to check with Medicare to see if it would be approved. I thought the doctors office did the inquiry, Advance Beneficiary Notice for approval or non approval.
