@gangcarotid1 that's awesome what you are doing for your kidney health. It's great to hear fruits, veggies and a quality real food diet is enough. You mentioned calcium, do you have a recommended limit? I am drinking a cup of almond or oat plant based milk 450mg calcium and 3/4 cup Greek yogurt is 200. I believe that's enough? Still finding the right amounts in foods.

I cant handle those 'new' milks... LOL. I grew up on real, unpasteurized co's milk from our milk cows, and it was a rough transition to go to 2% later in life. I l7mit myself to 1/2 cup or so on my a.m. cereal, and about 6 oz w supper. I also eat low-fat cottage cheese, and no-sugar yogurt. I love cheese, but lotsa cholesterol there, so I try to limit myself and tend more toward the white cheeses like provolone and mozzarella in limited amounts. To be frank, my biggest challenge is being aware of how much Potassium and Phosphorus is in fruits and veggies. Was a big disappointment to discover that oranges, avocados, tomatoes needed to be limited. Its a work in progress. And I am not giving up my once or twice a year huckleberry cheesecake! Just, without sugar. I use monkfruit when I bake. I have no diabetic issues, but I don't want them either!🙃
