Yes, I developed insomnia, and I am taking 150 mg, one tablet in 1 month. My doctor ignored this issue and stated that I must continue this medication for about 3 years. I don't know what to do.

@nataasat @gbooth54 Do you have any more information on why your doctors used Risedronate (brand name Actonel) compared to other possible bisphosphonates?
The below paper would make me want alendronate (brand Fosamax) over Risedronate. I have acid reflux/GERD, but had no problem with alendronate for 18 months by simply following the directions. And the paper below says they found no problems that way.
