Anyone been put on Kevzara to help with prednisone tapering?

My rheumatologist is recommending Kevzara if I should have trouble tapering ( just started tapering today) so I looked at costs. Yikes! $5000 a month! My insurance does not cover. I am curious about the cost for those who are taking it. Thanks!

@lglowac Hi, I just started Kevzara three weeks ago and I’m not paying anything for it. If you are retired with an income of less than 45K, it’s covered. My Rheumatologist gave me the information to fill out.
