Most anti depressants and will have bad withdrawal side effects. You should never stop them cold turkey without medical assistance. You need to work with your doctor and set up a withdrawal plan. It can take a long time to do it safely and with as few side effects as possible. Effexor is very hard to get off of, and I took a good 9 months to slowly wean off of it. By the end, I was taking just a crumb of a pill. This has to be done very slowly, or you will be in bad shape for a long time.
