Hi!
I don’t know about PartD. I have straight Medicare, and bought a prescription plan from AARP for about $800 per year. My co-pay for 600 mgs is about $60 per month, possibly less. I’ve had a lot of meds this past year, e.g. Klonopin (co pay $4, and several antibiotics for about a $3 co-pay.
I hope this helps!
All the best, paula

I don't know if it's fair to say that Medicare covers any part of prescription meds not given in a medical setting. I get my part D through Wellcare and my annual premium is $115. Last year it was $0.00. IIRC my annual copays are around $600. Things like Losartan, Dyazide, Atorvastation have $0.00 copay, so my total premium plus copay is under $800.
