Another update!
Last Saturday started experiencing pain in my abdomen after having lunch. Still in pain 6 hours later, and my abdomen was hard and distended.
I presented to my hospital ED and told them I suspected a bowel obstruction. A CT scan confirmed my suspicions. I’m just home today, Wednesday. I’ve been on a fluid diet and had medication to relax the bowel. There wasn’t any need for surgery, which was great!
I had a PET scan while I was there, and that showed that the cancer is responding to the chemotherapy treatment! Definitely a plus!
Cycle 5 starts in a week. My nephews wedding is in 2.5 weeks! Stay tuned …

@jenelleseaman You certainly know your body. A CT confirmed what you already knew. So, it's good you went to the ED and got on medication to relax the bowel as well as the fluid diet. You want to be through with all of that for your nephew's wedding. I really hope for you that nothing gets in the way of going to this wedding.
