@grandmira on Thursday I have an appointment with Dr. Philip Pearlman ent specialist and this is what I’m going to tell him:
What I Need From You

1. A treatment for my nasal congestion that does not slow my urine stream or interact with aspirin/Plavix.
2. Possibilities to discuss:
· Montelukast (Singulair) – leukotriene inhibitor, not an antihistamine or steroid
· Ipratropium nasal spray – anticholinergic, but local; low systemic absorption
· Saline/xylitol rinses with squeeze bottle (already trying, limited effect)
· Nasal strips + wedge pillow (helps but not enough)
· Office-based procedure (e.g., turbinate reduction) if medically appropriate
3. Evaluation for aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease (AERD) given the timing and severity of congestion after starting aspirin.

@anthony11021 Good luck I hope you find something that lessens your congestion issue. I live in an area close to the coast, that and the dampness only exasperates congestion issues. Also taking the meds I presently take Flomax and Tadalafil only add to the issue.
