@m1ch3lle thank you! it has been hard bc i’ve dealt with chronic pain(ibs) since i was 11 but now it’s just gotten so bad with the endo and IC but it is nice to connect with people. yeah it is basically just an incurable uti. the antibiotics they have tried (bc they thought it was something else) were doxycycline, amoxicillin and fluconazole. they each worked for a couple days but didn’t do anything. i was told tho if u have IC u need to take each of them (not fluconazole) for a second round to get rid of it better but idk how true that is. i’ve been given hydroxyzine and uribel but those didn’t work for me either. also there’s prelief which is over the counter but i haven’t tried that one and the main one starts with an e but causes macular degeneration so yeah. i however get a procedure called installation’s once a week. a catheter is inserted into u and lidocaine, heparin, and sodium bicarbonate go into ur bladder to numb it and thin it. there’s multiple different reasons y IC can happen so if it doesn’t work it isn’t shocking but it is very shocking it was working for me but i just got back from mayo and had to start again. i just had mine again today
