I started acupuncture two months ago, twice a week, It hasn't helped but I will give it more time. I have nerve damage from back surgery a year ago. Acupuncture is supposed to improve circulation which should help heal the nerves. I've mostly stopped doing exercises and taking walks since they increase my pain. Did acupuncture help you?
Anyone else have advise about acupuncture? The doctor I'm going to has a terrific reputation and says that acupuncture definitely helps neuropathy.

@lesx I had a back surgery in 9/2025 and have nerve issues too. I've been doing acupuncture since Dec 2026 but it hasn't helped yet.

@lesx
I did a course of acupuncture for my PN a couple years ago. Only thing it did was lighten my wallet. But everyones results will vary and there's the placebo effect as well that might help some.

I've also tried ALA infusions, Vitamin B12, Lions Mane Mushrooms, curcumin, and a bunch of other stuff. None of it works for me.

@lesx My doctor said that at best acupuncture is only temporary, and our insurance won't cover the costs.

I had 10 acupuncture treatments from a very well thought of person. I was very relaxed but the treatments did nothing for my neuropathy.
