@jolam They shouldn't hurt if done correctly. Sedation is the better way to go. Have you ever had a colonoscopy? That type of sedation is what they use. Ask your doctor about it.

@catherine1290 yes I had a coloniscopy with sedation in Sept. but I thought that was just for short procedures. I will definitely inquire when I see the surgeon. TY
