@lisalucier I have body temperature issues like low grade fever 99 degrees and the feeling I am sweating but I have no sweat, like I'm standing in a rain forest and rain running down my legs and back etc. Wondering if my fatty liver is the culprit or something else or some other organ or skin issues.

In my experience of 8 years living with a diagnosed liver disease, and an additional 17 years with a liver transplant, I have learned to be aware of how I am feeling and whether my temperature is elevated/ and how much it is elevated above my normal level. Sometimes the temperature can be insignificant, and sometimes it can be a sign of something that needs to be treated. For example, it could be a sign of a mild infection that could be involved with the liver. Not to frighten you, but a slight temperature could contiue to rise and it is best to get it checked out sooner rather than later.

I would encourage you to consult with your doctor. Does that sound like something you could do?

I have fatty liver too & recently spent 2 weeks at Mayo in an autoimmune crisis. Those wonderful doctors there figured out the problems & started treatment which is making me feel so much better. But while in hospital, my liver enzymes were so high, even the steroids weren’t working at first. The Hepatology team wanted to do a liver biopsy but thank God they started coming down. Still a bit high but I’m getting them checked at Dr. office every few weeks to make sure that’s still the trend.
The interesting thing is for weeks before I ended up in the ER, I had a daily temperature & night sweats, and that was on NSAIDs. Never experienced that before.
Every one is so different & don’t want to add more anxiety but I would pursue this with the Dr. Better to be cautious than for this to get worse. Maybe time to see a bona fide Liver Specialist at this point?? Hopefully that’s something that is possible for you. Good Luck & hope you find the answers you need.
