@bdurel thanks for letting us know how you're doing. it's not an easy path that you're on and you're showing a lot of courage. my cancer center has oncology nurse practioners that help with managing chemo side effects. if your clinic in Redding doesn't have those, I imagine UC Davis does. as far as your hair, I would do what will be the least worst emotionally for you: ordering a wig to have on hand just in case, going with a shorter style for now. I've just cut my hair into a short shag style to try to work with what is left, so I get it. sending you lots of hugs.

@mamajite Thank you! My hair is usually some version of a long shag or heavily layered look. So I’ve decided to go for a short shag on Friday to lessen the weight physically and emotionally. Then just hope for the best. Truthfully washing it and waiting for it to dry is seeming like a burden suddenly so I think I’ll be a bit relieved. I’ve just never had short hair except as a child when my dad punished me by getting me a pixie cut lol.
