@trooperdogg1960 I am going to be discussing THC use with my PM doc. Hopefully he will be experienced enough to set me on the right course.

@heisenberg34 it definitely has its benefits. However, being a certified Peer Support Specialist and Peer Support Leader in dependence and recovery, I will abstain to better set an example. It absolutely can be a dependency issue for many. It was encouraged but not prescribed by a few of my doctors in replacement of Tromadol and other opioids prescribed to me by a former PM doctor. Psychological dependence with THC is a real issue. When I stopped, March 1st, I noticed I had mental discomfort. Ive been through many drug cocktails prescribed for pain, but the 300mg of pregabalin will soon be replaced with spinal chord stimulation. The pregabalin has definitely helped emotional issues for me. Dependence on any drug is not what I want or need. Motion is medicine. Mindfulness and meditation can do wonders but pain sucks. Sometimes something else is needed.

@heisenberg34 THC is one of the active cabinoids in marijuana that causes a high. CBDin a balm is another that can relieve pain. I never heard of THC being ussed to relieve pain.
