Kenlily, I did 5 weeks and started getting progressive bladder urgency around the 3rd week that got worse until I started blowing up on the table at the end of week 4. I had to demand they give me something. Light anal bleeding started soon after and got worse for the next couple of months then settle down some until 9 months post treatment when it returned and I started bleeding through my clothes. They cauterized me and the bleeding stopped a couple of weeks later. I still deal with some urgency, but it is a lot better. If, and I hope you don't need it, and your doctors are more caring than mine, you might have to tell your doctors you need something. Don't hesitate, be firm in your request. I was too passive and the lesson was learned. I can't help but to think there are more proactive doctors out there that will set you up for success. If I BCR again I will be moving to a comprehensive cancer center for treatment. Best wishes on your journey.
