We have changed to a Coloplast bag with a filter. It seems like it has taken care of the problem 🤞🏻
Now if there is someway to stop it from backing up around the stoma that would be great. I do try to rinse it out with warm water but it still backs up.

Well I think sometimes it has to do with what u eat. I used to baby oil ir something similar and that seem to help some.

@pidge32 there are lubricant drops that can help. Coloplast, Hollister and other manufacturers make them. If you do a search for "ostomy lubricating deodorant" you'll see quite a few different options. I'd suggest calling some of the manufacturers for samples.

Most of them seem to both deodorize and lubricate, so hopefully you can find something that addresses both of your concerns!
