Welcome. Can you share your dexa scores with us? Is Prolia the only non oral osteoporosis medication that your doctor has discussed with you? There are others that are not taken orally.. such as forteo, tymlos. Evenity. However, I am not a doctor and have no idea whether any of those are appropriate for your care. Are you seeing an endocrinologist or a physician who is well trained in treatment of osteoporosis?

Mes résultats : la DMO lombaire : score T de -2,2; la DMO du col fémoral gauche: score T de -2,5; la DMO pour la hanche totale gauche : score de T -2,4. On ne m'a parlé que du Prolia qui est donné sous injection, ce qui est OK. Le problème est celui du calcium quotidien de 500 mg que je dois prendre. À cause de la gastroparésie, je ne peux pas prendre le calcium oralement. Quant à l'endocrinologue, je vais suggérer à mon médecin une recommandation pour en consulter un.
