Has anyone experienced hair loss after an ostomy?

I have lost almost all my hair from my November ostomy surgery, to the point of bald spots and needing a wig Now I just had to have another surgery to correct a problem with the ostomy so I have given up the thought of it ever growing back. Will probably go completely bald now.

@pidge32 Dear pidge32, I wouldn't give up just yet. It may take much longer than you might want, but I think in the end, a year or two, your hair will grow back. But in the meantime, thank goodness for wigs!
