If you go to the main heading Osteoporosis you will see many subheadings that address various medications for osteoporosis and members experiences using them. You mention your fear of possible side effects. Is your fear based on your own experiences with other types of medications or ....?

@gravity3 I would add—Research/then speak with docs—many of these meds can affect things like kidney health…balancing the needs of multiple conditions is quite a balancing act . Wish you all good luck !
