@janetlen I hope your transplant has gone well? I remember reading your thread at the time my mum was deliberating over whether to have a transplant or not, and thinking how similar your ages and diagnoses were. It’s good to know you are now on the other side of the transplant, and hopefully well on the way to recovery? Has it been as tough as you expected?

@mgol PS - I just found your post about your Mom's condition
Like your mom, my condition worsened, which is why I went ahead with the transplant. When my platelets dropped I injected a drug to help raise them. I can't remember the name of the drug right now, but it could be an option? I hope it is smooth sailing for the transplant.

@mgol Yes, I am getting better. The first few months were the toughest. I am at my 6 mos checkup with my transplant team today. So, I reached a milestone. I wish your mother well. How is she doing?
