@jlharsh I have a blood test initially followed by a cardio stress test, evaluation with Dr Kolpecky and then finally an electrocardiogram.
Also I have an appt with my local cardiologist tomorrow. Hoping for some encouraging direction.

@dlkreps I am checking in with you to see how you are doing and how your cardiology appointment went last week.
With what you have scheduled it looks like you will get a good cardiovascular assessment when you get to Mayo MN in a few weeks. Reading about your schedule brings back memories of my initial visit a few years ago. I am hopeful you will gain understanding of how your heart fits into your overall health with recommendations to treat your risk factors, and also alert you to non-cardio issues they may be find.
I believe you self-referred to Mayo Clinic Cardiology and Dr. Kopecky will no doubt have guidance for you. How did your cardiology appointment at home go, what did you learn? Do you anticipate your local cardiologist to be involved your care going forward?
