@mangolinda8191, These decisions are difficult at any age. Knowing how strong you are and what other heath conditions you have will all come into play. Your oncologist is likely best to know what you may be able to handle. We have had other members mention tempmetko, and as with most of these cancer medications, there have been observed side effects.

Do you have someone that has been going to appointments with you? Are they able to help in the decision making process? Sometimes I find it helpful to talk through the options.

@lls8000 Thank you. My husband has gone to appointments with me and I have a doctor-friend who's happy to talk it through. I keep thinking I SHOULD do the clinical trial and tomorrow is probably the very last day that I could, theoretically, be eligible.
