Welcome @macathartscove, It sounds like you've faced your share of ups and downs. No wonder scans are stressful. They are hard for most of us. I try to remember that my stressing about the scan isn't going to change the result and if there is something there, we're better off knowing about it sooner rather than later. I have a different mutation based lung cancer, ALK, and also take a targeted therapy. It's been six years for me. Hoping that your clear scans continue!

@macathartscove Doc will continue CT scans and liquid biopsy every 3 months. Because I started on Tagrisso and have had no recurrences, she’s confident that the cancer will not return. Liquid biopsy - blood test - detects DNA so they can see if the cancer is back before it shows up in scans. Her first plan would be to get back on Tagrisso. If it’s another mutation, there are other targeted drugs. And yes, scanxiety is quite real. 🤞 for you and a virtual hug. We’re all in this together.
