It is really hard to understand how Mayo at Rochester is unable to help you any further. The fact that your oncologist retired is irrelevant. You should try to contact Dr. Heath, she is the head of oncology and is a really great doctor to work with. I know a few people that are working with her and they really like her a lot. Something very fishy about what they’re telling you. You live in Minnesota and there’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to get treatment there.

The Mayo Clinic knows about the decipher test. They can arrange to have you get one.

You are on a good set of drugs, though you might want to ask about changing The Lupron shot for the Orgovyx Pill which you take once a day. When you stop taking your testosterone comes back much quicker. A lot of people say they get Fewer side effects from it. Speak to your doctor about this. How are they planning on you getting Lupron shots in the future? Something very fishy about this whole thing.

@jeffmarc Completely agree with your assessment and am pursuing further to get to the bottom of it. I, unfortunately, am on Lupron for at least 3 more months and am having sever side effects of Dizziness and Nausea. Can not 100% say it is the Lupron but I have received a lot of additional tests and scans that point to it. Even trying PT now. I talked to my Urologist and will be getting on Orgovyx in July. Just reading about the decipher test it is typically for patients with localized cancer I have it in at least 4 locations currently. Received Radiation also at Mayo which makes this whole thing very confusing.
