At 76 I'm doing pretty well, but must admit that there have been some changes this year.
My energy doesn't rebound as quickly as it used to, and I recently turned down a community carpentry job, realizing that my back would ache for a week.
I changed some light bulbs in my office yesterday.
The box said they would last 12 years.
I thought "I'll never need to change these lightbulbs again!"

@edsutton ~ so funny and I can top your bulb! My last purchase a bulb that will last 17.3 years! I turn 85 in September. We can all do the math. Cheers everyone.

Good choice.. hard to do when it’s something you enjoy. I have to chuckle at the lightbulbs.. my husband now buys things like that one thing at a time.. 😉 while I still buy in bulk. Who’s the optimist? He’s very healthy, workouts daily and I’m on the other side a bit. Thanks for the humor! Stay well!!
