Hello, thanks for reaching out and here is what I remember about my SRT.
During surgery, I had 21 lymph nodes removed along with the prostate gland. I had very targeted radiation that I think was around 66 Gys. In fact, I was "tattooed" so they could line me up right for radiation. It lasted for nine weeks, five days per week.

I have never had ADT be it intermittent or systemic. However, I chose SRT as soon as my post-surgical PSA began to go up. That might have been the reason they did not couple my SRT with ADT - too many acronyms!

Other than the daily two-hour round trip drive in winter, the SRT was pretty smooth and I had no side effects other than fatigue.

I hope this helps and please let me know if I can answer any more questions. I wish you and your husband and awesome outcome through these procedures. And, thanks for the positive vibes for me in my situation. Once it is decided how to proceed it will be easier. Right now I feel like I am looking into a stew of uncertainty.

Thanks Johnny for fast reply and sharing all details about your sRT journey. It is very much appreciated 💗 We did not have much luck so far, but one has to hope for the best. For that reason I started reading about possible scenarios in the future and found some promising results from new studies done, especially with combo of ADT and Enzalutamide :
https://www.urotoday.com/conference-highlights/esmo-2025/esmo-2025-prostate-cancer/164089-esmo-2025-overall-survival-with-enzalutamide-in-biochemically-recurrent-prostate-cancer.html
This combination gave very good results for preventing metastases formation and since you never had ADT it is great chance that you are not castrate resistant and that ADT therapies alone or in combination could give great results and excellent disease control for many, many years.

This study was done with Enza but there is no reason why ADT + Nubeqa would not have exact same success rate with possibly less side effects. Everybody who uses Nubeqa is praising it .

@jeffmarc is guru here and knows everything about every stage of PC since he had to deal with all of them 😔 and he continuously advances his knowledge by attending conferences, webinars etc.

Thank you for your well-wishing 🌺😌 !
