[Tip] How to Update Your Notification Settings
You receive email notifications about Groups and Pages you follow and Discussions you’ve participated in. You can change your notification preferences on your Profile.
1. Go to your Profile.
Click your avatar in the top right and select Account Settings from the drop-down menu.
On a mobile device, click the Menu symbol and select My Account.
2. Scroll to the Email Notifications section at the bottom of the page.
3. Check or uncheck the notification boxes to reflect your email preferences.
For each group or page you follow, you can choose to receive notifications each time a new message is posted or only in the digest summary.
You can also unfollow any group or page you no longer wish to follow.
4. Click SAVE.
NOTE: To turn off email notifications from a specific discussion thread, simply click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the next email you receive.

Hi Colleen: I'm not sure if this is typical, however, I wanted to let the other mentors/moderators know about this. Several days ago, I updated my settings so that one group of discussions would only come to my Daily Digest, but would not be part of my notifications. It took 3-5 days for this to go into effect - is this typical? So my thought is to be patient after you update your notifications.
Also, at one time (in the older version of Mayo Connect) it was possible to click on something and see individual Members that you were "following" or the Members who were "following you" - I don't see that anymore. Is it still there? Teresa
Hi Teresa,
Colleen: I will investigate. Changes made to your notification should be effective immediately and to your digest within 24 hours.
The member follow feature has been hidden while we work on developing a new and improved version to make it easier to build your network within Connect.
@colleenyoung Colleen, thanks for the tip about vacation notifications. I hate to miss any good info but it really is daunting to have so much. I was gone for five days and it was overwhelming, I am still gradually catching up.
