I ended up going to the pediatrist because my toes would go dark and go numb. My fingers also go numb or feel prickly. They sent me to get some testing done and it all came back good, good pulse , no damage. They said they can't explain what's happening but it could be the medication. My biggest fear as a diabetic is losing my feet so I got really concern when I would push on my toes and they would go white complete for a few moments and blood came back later. Only thing I was advised by the dermatologist and pediatrist to keep my fingers and toes warm. Wear warm socks and gloves to keep blood flowing. I'm glad my test results came back good but it's annoying all these side effects no one really knows about because "it's not on the list of side effects" .

This was a really scary situation for you and glad that your tests showed no major damage. It's sad, though, that warm socks and gloves are the only suggestion.
