Hi @korianders ! I hope you’re doing a lot better. I just want to share with you that it’s been 7 months since my LD flap surgery and 2 months since my breast reconstruction (implants added) and my range of motion are almost back to how it was before the surgery. Almost at 99% The tightness around the band area is a lot better and almost painless - almost got used to it but in a good way. It’s become part of my body — at least for now I hope until it goes away fully. My amazing Physical Therapist who specializes taking care of BC patients and is knowledgeable of the LD surgery, has helped me with my journey She uses her hands to massage and teaches me targeted stretches to help me heal which I consistently follow through at home. Not one did she ever use cold/hot packs in her sessions. If you are in NYC, I can share her info with you. With patience and care, you will hopefully get to a better place in your healing journey. I want to say I promise but we all heal differently and that healing is not linear, but you will get there. 🤗
